The tangkulo scarf is traditionally used as a head scarf of the chieftains and male leaders of the indigenous tribes of Davao in Mindanao.
It is a beautiful accessory adorned with glass and chalk beads with patterns representing their rich cultural heritage.
These beads are individually and carefully sewn together by mostly women artisans from the Bagobo-Tagabawa tribe of Mindanao to form beautiful patterns resembling their connections to their environment and community.
Model is wearing tangkulo as a neck scarf, featuring naturally dyed cotton pompoms and beaded edges and center piece. The scarf can also be styled as a head scarf.
Style this with your wardrobe staples or a statement piece. Featured tangkulo is gray color in cotton jersey based with cotton pompoms in red and white.
Suitable for women and men. One size.
Available for pre-order.
